Rebar Library

To access the data on mild steel reinforcement in the currently loaded library, select the Rebar command from the Libraries menu. The rebar types listed when this screen opens correspond to the currently section library file selected in the Library Pathnames Setup dialog box.

Adding Rebar to the Library

Perform the following steps to add rebar to the library:

Click the Add Rebar button to add a new row to the library.
Enter the rebar values in the grid. A definition for each parameter is available below.

Copying Rebar to the Library

Perform the following steps to copy rebar to the library:

In the grid, select the rebar you want to copy by clicking anywhere in its row. A blue arrow displays on the left side of the grid to mark the selection.
Click the Copy Rebar button to add a new row to the library.
Enter the rebar values in the grid. A definition for each parameter is available below.

Deleting Rebar From the Library

Perform the following steps to delete rebar from the library:

In the grid, select the rebar you want to delete by clicking anywhere in its row. A blue arrow displays on the left side of the grid to mark the selection.
Click the Delete Rebar button.

Grid Definitions

Setting	Description
Name	Enter the name of the rebar.
Unit	Enter the unit for the rebar.
Size	Enter the bar size of the rebar.
Diameter	Enter the deformed diameter of the rebar.
Area	Enter the area of the rebar.
Fy	Enter the rebar yield stress.
Fu	Enter the rebar ultimate stress.
Es	Enter the modulus of elasticity.
